Should you invest in product photography before launch?

01

When a brand launches, the customer sees not the product but its photograph first. That first frame sets trust, price perception and the decision to click. Investing in photography before launch is cheaper than every correction made afterwards.

The first impression cannot be undone

For a new product the ad budget, the packaging and the website are discussed for weeks; the image is often left to the end. Yet the moment the ad is clicked and the product is added to cart always passes through the image. A weak photo makes even the best product look amateur and wastes expensive traffic.

72%Most buyers name the product image as the most decisive factor in a purchase.

The return on the investment

The right image set is not a one time cost but an asset used again and again. The same shoot lives on the marketplace page, in ads, on social media and in press. A consistent set lifts conversion, lowers returns and gives the brand a mature look from day one.

The image is where the advertising you paid for either works or goes to waste.

Your question should not be "should I invest in photography" but "will I leave my brand's first impression to chance". Launch is the right moment to arrive with a strong visual language.
